Request deletion without the app
Email contact@kalaeem.com with the subject “Aakriti account/data deletion”. You do not need to reinstall the app.
- Tell us whether you want to delete your Aakriti account, analytics data, other data, or all identifiable data.
- For an account request, contact us from the Google email used for Aakriti where possible. We may ask for proportionate verification before deletion. Never send your password or sign-in tokens.
- For Analytics, include your app-instance ID if available. Profile → Delete account / data → Request data deletion by email can include the current ID in a draft you review and send. Do this before turning analytics off/resetting. Account email alone does not identify these records; old reset identifiers may be unavailable.
We will acknowledge your request, explain verification and expected timing, and confirm the identifiable data deleted or any necessary retention. Requests are handled without undue delay under applicable requirements; remote/provider deletion is not instantaneous.
Delete within Aakriti
In builds with deletion controls: open Profile → Delete account / data → Delete Aakriti account. Confirm and, if prompted, verify the same Google account. This deletes the Firebase Authentication account and turns optional telemetry off. It does not delete your Google account. Older private test builds may not show these controls; use the email path above.
What is deleted, and what is separate?
- Aakriti account: its Firebase Authentication user record/profile. We currently have no cloud-synced favourites or comments database.
- Historical telemetry: separately request deletion of identifiable Analytics data. We route requests to the relevant provider facilities using available identifiers. Crash diagnostics/security records may not be individually identifiable by email.
- On this phone: favourites, preferences, cache and local profile data are separate from the cloud account. Clear Aakriti’s storage in Android app settings or uninstall to erase local data, subject to Android backup/restore. Clear Cache in the app removes downloaded extras only. Replace any active wallpaper through Android settings if desired.
- Retention exceptions: records required for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained for that purpose; we explain applicable exceptions. Provider backup/expiry processes and truly aggregated, non-identifiable statistics may be separate from account deletion.
